align="left"><font face="Arial" size="2"><strong>Operating method<br> </strong>The drying drum is supplied with the wet product by means of a suitable feed device. Transporting blades on the feed side of the drum take up the product and carry it to the drum fittings. The choice of drum fittings is determined by the product characteristics. The product is usually dried in direct flow with the wet product coming into contact with the hot drying gas, the temperature of which my be as high as 1000 °C.
